This changelog records all substantive changes to NatalCalculator.com — calculator updates, content additions, accuracy corrections, and design improvements. Minor copy edits are not recorded. Bug fixes and accuracy corrections are always listed regardless of how small.

v1.1.0 — 13 May 2026

  • Expanded Moon ephemeris from 13 to 30 ELP-2000 periodic terms. Accuracy improves from ~0.5° to ~0.1° vs Swiss Ephemeris. Affects Moon sign determination near sign cusps.
  • Added cookie notice banner (GDPR compliance).
  • Added five static blog routes for pre-rendering: What Is a Birth Chart, The Big Three, Birth Chart vs Horoscope, How to Find Your Rising Sign, Saturn Return.
  • Added WebApplication schema to all six calculator pages.
  • Fixed OG image reference to serve JPEG instead of SVG for social media compatibility.
  • Improved font loading: moved from JS injection to preload + stylesheet link tags. Reduces FOUT on first paint.
  • Added "Last updated" and reading-time badges to all content pages via makeContentRoute helper.
  • Design: added visual component library (StatRow, PlanetGrid, Callout, TOC, PullQuote, Steps, Compare, Divider) and applied across major content pages.
  • Homepage: replaced ten-paragraph planet block with interactive PlanetGrid component. Replaced twelve-paragraph house block with icon-grid layout.
  • All twelve zodiac sign pages: added mythology section, shadow/growth section, Aries-through-houses section, Compare (strengths/shadow) component, prev/next navigation.
  • All twelve house pages: added StatRow with natural sign and ruler, planet symbol styling, prev/next navigation.
  • Fixed aria-current="page" on active navigation links.
